The Barangay Council Officials

The barangay is a unitary form of government wherein the 

Chairman is the head of the barangay along with  his 7 kagawads. Each kagawads has been designated to  different committees and assigned to different puroks.  The chairman of the committees and purok assignment  is as follows:

Economic Profile

Farming is the primary source of livelihood among the community residents. Their economic resources come from coconut, corn, rice, fruit trees, vegetables, livestock and raising pigs. Majority of the employed individuals in the community are rice crop farmers, however most of them are tenants only. The average family income in the community ranges from 500 php to 2500 php every harvest season. Coconut farmers, on the other hand, earn 3 – 4 times a year

Education

 

The barangay has a day care center and an elementary school. The Rubia Day Care Center of the barangay is located adjacent to the barangay hall, barangay nutrition center and multi-purpose covered
